Travel Update 19 March 2023: South Africa Proposed National Shutdown Mon 20 March 2023

Johannesburg – OR Tambo International Airport

Please note that Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has advised that all the Upper & Lower Airport roadways will be temporarily closed from today, 19 March 2023 until Tuesday, 21 March 2023.

This is as a safety precaution measure.

Vehicles will be redirected to Parkade 2 South Level 2, where passengers may be picked up or dropped off.

Customers are also advised to report early for their check-in procedures. ACSA is recommending departing passengers arrive at the airport around 4.5 hours before their scheduled time of departure.

There are no changes to the fastjet scheduled flying program.
