Value Plus Fare
VALUE Plus

Our Value Plus fares are an ideal option if you require the most flexibility and great benefits with your travels. If you have not locked down your travel plans or your itinerary is subject to change, or if you enjoy some added extras, this fare is ideal for you.

*If you book a Value Plus fare, you will benefit from unlimited free changes to your flight without incurring a change fee. However, fare differences are still payable to fastjet. Please note that if your new flight booking costs less than the original reservation, we will not refund the difference.

Value Plus Fares include the following

  • Two (2) pieces of Checked Baggage weighing a total combined maximum 32kg.
  • One (1) piece of cabin baggage weighing a maximum of 7kg plus a handbag or small personal item.

Payment Options

Book & Pay Now

You can book and pay immediately for your flights using the following options:

  • Credit & Debit Card payments (Visa & Mastercard) via our Website or App, or at any fastjet travel shop or fastjet airport ticket sales desk.
  • Cash Payments via any fastjet travel shop or fastjet airport ticket sales desk.
  • Mobile Money using tingg Stanbic via our Wesbite.

Note: Credit and Debit Card payment transactions may incur additional fees from certain banks or financial institutions; always ensure that you are aware of your provider’s fee structures. To ensure a quick, easy, and more secure payment process, register your Credit Card with 3D Secure. If you would like to sponsor a booking, we will accept credit or debit card payments for the sponsored booking.

Book Now & Pay Later

For some of our customers, paying for a flight at the time of booking is impossible. For a small fee, you can choose to hold your fare, book your flight and pay later. If you choose to “Book Now & Pay Later”, you have various options available, which include:

  • Credit & Debit Card payments via our Website or App, or at any fastjet travel shop, fastjet airport ticket sales desk, CBZ branch or any Chicken Inn store (available in Zimbabwe for USD & ZWL currencies).
  • Cash Payments via any fastjet travel shop, fastjet airport ticket sales desk, any CBZ branch or for USD and ZWL bookings at any Chicken Inn store within Zimbabwe (available in Zimbabwe for USD & ZWL currencies).
  • ZimSwitch payments in Zimbabwe at a fastjet travel shop or fastjet airport ticket sales.
  • Electronic Funds Transfer through our Call Centre.

Our standard Service Fee will be automatically applied for using our Pay Later service. No other booking or payments fees will be charged at any of our ticketing sales offices or payment points. A service fee may apply at Airport Ticket Sales Desk’s supported by a fastjet third-party service provider.

If you would like to sponsor a booking, we will accept credit or debit card payments for the sponsored booking.

Zimbabwe Dollar “ZWL” the local currency of Zimbabwe, is accepted for a flight booking made in Zimbabwe only.

If you choose to “Book Now & Pay Later”, it is important that you pay close attention to the booking hold period on your booking confirmation receipt, as failure to make a payment for your flight within the specified time period will result in the booking being auto-cancelled. Should this happen, you would need to make a new booking.

Booking hold periods, with the permitted payment time limits, are as follows:

  • Booked more than seven (7) days before the departure date, payment due within seventy-two (72) hours of the time of booking.
  • Booked between seven (7) and 2 (two) days before the departure date, payment due within twenty-four (24) hours of the time of booking.
  • Booked between two (2) days and twenty-four (24) hours before the departure date/time, payment due within six (6) hours of the time of booking.
  • Booked between twenty-four (24) hours and six (6) hours of departure time, payment due within two (2) hours of the time of booking.
  • Booked less than 6 (six) hours before departure the PAY LATER option is not available.

Note: During the hold period, the fare will be subject to our tariffs applicable on the payment date, pricing currency and increases to any taxes or charges imposed by any government or other authority or by the operator of an airport. The listed items are not exhaustive and may change without prior notification. Accordingly, a fare for any flight is not guaranteed until the ticket for such flight has been issued and We have received full payment in respect thereof.

 

Refunds

Refunds

Refunds are permitted in the following circumstances: 

  • Our Value Plus fares and taxes are refundable up to two hours before the scheduled time of departure of your booked flightA refund administration fee shall apply. 
    Terms & Conditions apply. 
  • In the event of the death of a traveller, a refund will be considered by us. A certified copy of the death certificate and an affidavit must be submitted with the refund request. The refund request will be considered for any member/s of the immediate family that were booked to accompany the deceased booked on the same flight and date or same booking reference.
  • In the event of the death of an immediate family member of a ticketed traveller, we will offer you a rebooking for travel at a later date; the date/flight change penalty may be waivered by us with the difference in fares, taxes, fees and charges to be calculated in accordance with our applicable tariff in effect on the date on which payment for your changes are received. No refund will be permitted.

For an approved refund, we will refund the ticket fare less administration fee via the original payment channel or method used when booking the ticket. Contact our Call Centre or visit your nearest fastjet shop for more information.

Carrier imposed fees, Administration fees, extras and ancillaries associated with a booking will not be refunded.

Note that it can take up to 21 working days to process your refund.

Cancellations and Delays

Although we do our best to avoid flight delays or cancellations, flight times can change between publication and your departure date. As a result, we do not guarantee flight times.

We may cancel or delay a flight due to extraordinary circumstances such as: 

  • acts of God,
  • air traffic control restrictions,
  • bad weather,
  • political or civil unrest,
  • war,
  • riots,
  • embargoes,
  • terrorist alerts and security alerts,
  • aircraft technical defects,
  • strike action, 
  • unexpected flight safety shortcomings,
  • global pandemics,
  • bird strikes, and
  • natural disasters.

We will not refund your ticket if your flight is cancelled or delayed due to Extraordinary Circumstances.

If we cancel a flight (other than for Extraordinary Circumstances) or fail to stop at your destination and no other flight is available, or a refund is otherwise due to you, the amount of the refund will be

  • if no portion of the ticket has been used, an amount equal to the fare paid.
  • if a portion of the ticket has been used, the refund will be not less than the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare for travel between the points for which the ticket has been used.

In the event of a cancellation or delay, we will inform you via SMS, phone call or by email. It is important that you provide us with your correct contact details at the time of booking. If you are booking via a travel agent, you must ensure that the travel agent provides your full and correct details on the booking reservation. 

If we cancel a flight, fail to operate a flight within five hours of the original scheduled flight times or, fail to stop at your destination, we shall carry you at the earliest opportunity on fastjet or where necessary, extend the validity of your ticket or offer a refund of the unused flight ticket should the new flight arrangements not be suitable or fit for purpose. No further claims for compensation or any expenses shall be supported. 

In the case of delays, we will accommodate your onward connection on a fastjet flight on the next available flight free of charge. We shall not be responsible for any missed connecting flights to onward destinations with other airlines.

Please note that it can take up to 21 working days to process your refund. Refunds are processed via the original payment channel or method used to book your ticket. If payment was made using mobile money, then the refund will be administered as a mobile payment in the same currency as the original transaction.

FlexiGo

Flexi-Go offers you greater flexibility and peace of mind when booking your flight.
We understand that life sometimes gets in the way of travel plans, so to make it easier, we offer three options as part of our “FlexiGo” choices that will assist you in facilitating changes at short notice if you arrive early or you are unable to make your flight.

FlexiGo

GoEarlier

This offer is best suited if you arrive well ahead of the check-in time for your flight. You have the option to travel earlier on the preceding flight, arriving at your destination early.

All you need to do to take advantage of this offer is to register at the Airport fastjet ticket sales desk for the preceding flight on a “Standby” basis. Just before check-in is finalised and subject to availability you will be accepted for travel and will be issued with a boarding pass.

  • Valid for travel on the same day only.
  • Valid for travel on the same route only on the preceding flight.
  • Available at the Airport only, up to one hour before the earlier departure time.
  • Standard Fare rules and Terms & Conditions of Carriage apply.
  • No Change Fee applicable. No Fare Difference will apply.

GoLater

If you arrive late or miss your flight, you may travel on a later flight up to 72 hours from your original travel date & time.

All you need to do is register at the Airport fastjet ticket sales desk for your flight of choice for travel on a “Standby” basis. Just before check-in is finalised and subject to availability, you will be accepted for travel and will be issued with a boarding pass.

  • Valid for travel up to 72 hours from the original travel date & time.
  • Valid for travel on the same route only.
  • Available at the Airport only, up to one hour before the departure time of the flight you would like to fly on.
  • Standard Fare rules, and Terms & Conditions of Carriage apply.
  • Change Fee applicable. No Fare Difference will apply.

GoFirm

If you arrive late or miss your flight, you may rebook a confirmed flight of choice for a future travel date within the validity of your ticket (one year from the date of issue).

If your flight has been classified by us as a no-show, you must amend your booking within 72 hours of your original flight time at any fastjet Airport sales desk, travel shop or via the Call Centre.

  • Valid for travel on future date and time of choice.
  • Valid for travel on the same route only.
  • Bookings must be modified within 72 hours of the date & time of departure of the original flight.
  • Standard Fare rules, and Terms & Conditions of Carriage apply.
  • Change Fee & Fare Differences apply.
