Experience a touch of royalty at the Nesbitt castle. This well-known hotel is famous for its Sunday high teas and manicured gardens. It is also the ideal location for business and personal events such as weddings. 

Take a drive to Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage and Research Centre. Here you will meet a variety of rescued animals, including the cheeky monkeys, who are only too happy to relieve you of your valuables.  

Located about 35 km south of Bulawayo is the renowned Matobo National Park with the famous Matopos Hills, an area of granite kopjes and wooded. Dating back to over 2 billion years ago, Matopos Hill has become one of Zimbabwe’s famous natural landmarks. After spending time at the Matobo National Park and exploring the amazing cave arts a visit to the Khami Ruins, a World Heritage Site is an incredible experience not to be missed.

Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport - Bulawayo (BUQ)

Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport is located approximately 25 km from Bulawayo’s city centre. Formerly known as Bulawayo International Airport, it was renamed in honour of the leader and founder of the Zimbabwean African People’s Union, Joshua Nkomo. It features two runways, one of which is two and a half-kilometre long.  

There is one main terminal at the airport, with facilities that include dining, shopping, accommodation, banking, car parking, car rentals and shuttle services.

Fastjet Zimbabwe operates scheduled flights from Bulawayo to Harare and Johannesburg.
